God is great and greatly to be praised. I am excited to invite you into your own destiny. God obviously has a plan for you and your journey to greatness in Jesus Christ begins at Bishop University. Bishop University is a safe space designed by the Holy Spirit to equip you to be a minister servant leader for Jesus Christ. Whether you enroll in the Ministerial Credential Program, Ordaination Program, Christian Ministry and Leadership Program, Biblical Studies and Theology, or School of Education, you will be equipped to impact your local community and world.
WIth a host of special interest courses and training programs, Bishop University provides you with a wealth of opportunities to excel. The question is sometimes asked, "Why should I go to a Christian University as opposed to a secular university?" I have the answer. When you are born again you inherit a divine seed that can only be unlocked with spiritual watering. Thus, many Christians go to secular universities hoping to find their destiny only to find they have to come back to God to find out what He wants them to do. What if you could receive a high quality education that provided all the necessity of a secular education, but gave you the Christian environment and truth of God's word to truly impact all aspects of society? This is what you acquire at Bishop University. God has blessed me with over 20 years of ministerial experience in the trenches and now I want to pass it all on to you in the anointing and power of God.

The History, The Legacy
Bishop University was conceived in the heart of the man it is named after, Bishop Henry L. Johnson. Bishop Henry L. Johnson, a graduate of Aenon Bible College and founder of Bethesda Apostolic Church had a passion for education and ensuring that the next generation was prepared for ministry. In 1967 he started the West Region Bible College but merge it with Aenon after 5 years. He made his desire for an educational institute known to his predecessor Tobaise Brookins, who began the work of founding the Bishop University. Bishop Henry L. Johnson passed July, 2, 2012, but his vision lives today.

Thus, Bishop University believes that it is the mission of born again believers to access all levels of society and saturate them with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are vested in equipping men and women for world-wide ministry in through vocational careers and ministry forums.
